This policy explains what information Culinary Analytics handles, why we handle it, when we share it, and the choices available to you.
This Privacy Policy applies to websites, applications, restaurant storefronts, products, support channels, and other services operated by Culinary Analytics Consultation Group LLC (“Culinary Analytics,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
For our website, sales, account, billing, and direct support activities, Culinary Analytics decides why and how personal information is used. When a restaurant or retail business uses our platform to manage its own staff, guests, orders, or operations, that business controls its data and Culinary Analytics processes the data to provide the contracted service.
The information we collect depends on how you interact with Culinary Analytics. It may include:
Contact and account information, such as name, business email, phone number, username, account role, and authentication records.
Business and onboarding information, such as restaurant name, location, service model, operating preferences, integrations, hardware needs, and implementation notes.
Restaurant operations data, such as menu, recipe, inventory, supplier, staff, scheduling, sales, tax, reporting, and audit-event information submitted to or generated through the platform.
Guest and order information, such as name, contact details, delivery or pickup details, order contents, loyalty activity, and support messages when a guest interacts with a restaurant storefront.
Billing and transaction information, including subscription records, invoices, payment status, refunds, and processor references. Full card numbers are handled by payment providers rather than stored by Culinary Analytics in ordinary platform records.
Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser or device type, operating system, timestamps, referring pages, requested URLs, diagnostic events, and security logs.
Communications, including demo requests, contact forms, emails, support requests, survey responses, and feedback.
Cookie and local-storage information described in our Cookie Policy.
Directly from you when you request a demo, create an account, configure a restaurant, place an order, or contact us.
From the restaurant or organization that provides your account or uses our platform.
From connected services you or your organization authorize, such as point-of-sale, accounting, payroll, delivery, communications, or payment providers.
Automatically from browsers, devices, servers, and security systems when the services are used.
Provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve the services.
Create and administer accounts, restaurants, locations, roles, subscriptions, and support relationships.
Process orders, synchronize authorized integrations, generate operational reports, and deliver requested platform functions.
Respond to inquiries, schedule demonstrations, provide implementation and support, and send service-related notices.
Process billing, reconcile transactions, prevent fraud, and maintain financial and audit records.
Monitor reliability, diagnose errors, protect accounts, investigate misuse, and enforce our agreements.
Comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.
Send marketing communications where permitted. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time; service and account notices may still be sent.
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information in the following circumstances:
With the restaurant or organization that controls the relevant account, storefront, order, or workforce record.
With service providers that support hosting, infrastructure, payments, communications, customer support, security, analytics, implementation, and professional services, subject to appropriate obligations.
With third-party services when you or your organization asks us to connect or transmit data to that service.
With payment processors, banks, delivery providers, and other transaction participants as needed to complete an order or subscription transaction.
With professional advisers, regulators, courts, law enforcement, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, prevent fraud, or resolve disputes.
As part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable safeguards.
With your direction or consent.
Supported payment flows use provider-hosted pages, redirects, or tokenized fields. Payment providers may collect payment-card and identity information directly under their own terms and privacy notices. Culinary Analytics receives transaction references, status, amounts, and related records needed to operate the service, reconcile activity, and support customers.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the services, maintain business and audit records, meet contractual and legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and protect the platform. Retention varies by record type, account status, customer instructions, and legal requirements. Information may remain in protected backups for a limited period after deletion from active systems.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. These include role-aware access, tenant separation, protected integration secrets, secure transport, logging, health monitoring, and recovery procedures. No system can guarantee absolute security. Please contact us promptly if you believe an account or interaction with Culinary Analytics has been compromised.
Depending on where you live and the context of the data, you may have rights to:
Ask whether we process your personal information and request access to it.
Correct inaccurate personal information.
Request deletion or restriction of personal information, subject to legal and operational exceptions.
Receive a portable copy of certain information.
Object to or opt out of certain processing, including marketing communications and certain targeted advertising uses.
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
Appeal a decision on a privacy request where applicable.
To submit a request, email info@culinaryanalytics.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. If your information is controlled by a restaurant or other Culinary Analytics customer, please contact that business first; we will assist the business as required. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law.
Culinary Analytics business services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Restaurant customers are responsible for configuring and using guest-facing services in accordance with laws that apply to their business and audience.
Culinary Analytics operates from the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our customers or service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or other safeguards for cross-border transfers.
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy with a new “last updated” date and provide additional notice when appropriate. Questions or requests may be sent to info@culinaryanalytics.com.
